Have you realised the concept of a global community? That we are one people and we have only one Earth to survive on? If all 7 billion of us were to stand on the moon in a glass dome with one month of oxygen left and we looked down, or up, at our Earth, what would be the things that come to mind concerning how we could live together on our return to Earth? Shouldn't all people share everything equally? Is that happening today or is money and power the determining factor on who owns what and how much? When will we transcend this permittivity? And then we haven't even considered the following principles yet:
ec_wood_popup The Opportunity Principle – The members of future generations have a moral right to inherit a set of life opportunities that is undiminished relative to those enjoyed today. One value that is widely accepted in democratic societies is the principle that each member of society should enjoy an equal opportunity to define and pursue her own conception of the good life. Equality doesn’t mean that everybody should be equally happy, only that everyone should have equal opportunity to happiness.
The Fair-Sharing Principle Each member of present and future society is entitled to share fairly in the benefits derived from environmental resources. Specific stocks of environmental resources should not be depleted without rendering just compensation to members of future generations. g_river6_popup

At Mdumbi Backpackers and TransCape we strive to implement a way of life where everything can be shared equally and in a way that it will be there for ever, as far as human impact on it is concerned. We believe that the people living in an area have priority rights concerning the resources in that area but with fair consideration of the value of the resource relative to surrounding communities and future generations.
