Mdumbi Education Centre began in 2006 as a place for after school enrichment. After school programs continue to this day. Programs for school-aged children take place after school beginning at 4:00 and include learning in the following areas:

The children are separated into manageable groups mainly based on age. These groups have become popular entities within the youth community. They have names like Young Angles, Reds, Jam Ally and Power of Love. |

Children, teachers, parents and other community members may also use the Mdumbi Education Centre Library at any time to read books or check out books to take home. |
